Director WEFA
Director WEFA and a human rights activist with a political background. She has served on several United Nations human rights sessions representing Kashmiris. Her focus is on education and financial empowerment specifically focusing on women, youth and children. Running a long standing school in Halmat Neelum Valley serving underprivileged children gain access to quality education. She has also been a volunteer in several projects at Mariam foundation over the last 10 years uplifting and supporting women and under privileged children towards financial and emotional independence and support
Atika Ajaz
Director of Finance Department
Atika Ajaz responsible for the Finance department at Marium Foundation. She is also a dedicated house maker and runs a successful home-based poultry business. She has the experience of running her own private school. With her expertise in finance and organizational skills Atika excels in managing multiple roles and responsibilities effectively. As the head of the Finance department at Marium Foundation, she ensures the organization's financial stability and transparency.
Maryam Shah
Chairperson
Maryam Shah is a project management professional with a strong IT background. As the chairperson of the Marium Foundation, she utilizes her collaboration skills to drive community development initiatives. With a focus on education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, Maryam leads projects that uplift underprivileged communities.
Fauziah Khaled
Academic Director
Armed with a master's degree in psychology, Fauziah Khaled is a motivational speaker, environmental activist, and education specialist. Her powerful speeches on International Women's Day and role as an organizer at the International Muslim Women's Union reflect her commitment to empowerment. She trains educators, serves on the board of Mariam Foundation School, and her 15-year involvement with the Women Aid Trust includes working as a psychologist and coordinator for women and juveniles in jails. Fauziah's diverse efforts drive positive change and uplift those she touches.
Aliya Inayat
Advocate
Aliya Inayat serves as the Director of Human Resources at Marium Foundation School. She is responsible for crafting agreements, contracts, and policies for Marium Foundation. Additionally, she holds a membership in the Islamabad Bar Council and is a highly proficient practicing lawyer. Aliya specializes in handling civil, criminal, and family cases.
Shabnem Amir
Deputy Director WEFA
Shabnem Amir, a dedicated women's rights advocate with 25+ years of charitable work experience, holds a B.A. in Organization Studies from the University of Bradford. She relocated to Pakistan from the UK eight years ago and serves as a board member at the Marium Foundation, focusing on early years education, especially for girls. As Deputy Director of the Women's Empowerment Group (WEFA), she advances women's rights and leads Montessori and preschool initiatives, emphasizing activity-based learning. Shabnem's commitment drives positive change within underprivileged communities at the Marium Foundation.
Bedaar Bakht
Director Health and Nutrition
As the Director of the Health and Nutrition Department at the Marium Foundation, Bedaar Bakht brings over 33 years of experience from the National Institute of Health (NIH). With an M.Phil. in Microbiology, she has overseen vaccine production, quality control, and served as the principal of the College of Medical Laboratory Technology. Bedaar Bakh is known for her expertise in food and water quality projects, making her a valuable asset to the foundation's mission."

Participated in debates ,darama & fancy dress_show at tv with Tariq Aziz. Joined newspaper Huriyat at Karachi under the supervision of Anwar Maqsood.
Organised chairity shows for blinds at Karachi .

Joined Haider daily newspaper in 1989 at Islamabad .. Continued Column writing for last 35 year in different papers . organized an extravaganza at sports complex in 1991 to support basket ball 7 days National Matches .
